My mom & I went to my friend (& co-worker) Stacey's new house to help her with her flower beds. This is the before.

And this is the after! Oh, and mom & Stacey ran to Menard's "for 1 tool" while I did most of the clean-up! Oh well, it was fun!

Gone Fish'n

It was a good night for Todd to go fishing, so he did! I stayed on shore reading a book (oh, and a lil nap in the chair!).

TP Party

We hosted TP's crew yesterday at the lake. Great time despite the "no wake" order. Good thing Bob & Ann weren't around - the kids kinda hogged their new trampoline! (Oh, and for the blog police, this photo was taken yesterday, just not posted till today.)

Good Scout

Scout (upper right) is 13. She's a good girl who's been John's (and now Laura's) loyal companion since she was a pup. Her days are drawing near, they think, so they requested a quick photo shoot with the whole happy family. Let's hope she sticks around a little longer.

County Fair

We went to the Washington County Fair with our neighbors tonight. These are a variety of sheep (at least they were near the sheep though this guy looks more like a goat). Fun times!

Butterfly Snack

I snuck up on this butterfly enjoying the nectar from the coneflowers in our garden this afternoon. He kept his little wings zipped-up hiding the colors from me!

How Many...

...guys does it take to fix a jet-ski? One, once you get Todd involved! Curtis & Brent had friends up & they managed to suck a rope into the engine (again). That toy is jinxed!

Patio Review

Our patio, shot from an upstairs bedroom. Compare the view in July to the one taken on May 17...very different! We received many compliments over the weekend on our yard!
