First Forget

I realized, after I'd settled under the covers last night, that I'd forgotten to take & post a picture. I didn't even post a picture (you all know I've cheated some, here). I could've rushed downstairs, booted up the PC and done the needful, but I cuddled up with the boys & went to sleep. Forgive me, it's my first forget.

Black Beauty

Introducing...Black Beauty. I do very much likey! I'm enjoying deep nasal breaths from inside with the windows closed - love that new car smell. Even our garage smells different! It's a nice treat, and we took her for a spin this afternoon. It's hard getting used to driving a new car - so nervous all the time!

Saying Good-bye

That's my snowboarder girl sticker from Whistler, BC, Canada. I adored that image and loved  having "her" with us - me & my Baby Blue.

Today I said good-bye to my beloved 2000 Ford Explorer. Long ago, I yelled at a friend for over-thinking a car..."It's just a CAR!", I'd exclaimed. Here I was, crying in the dealership because it was time to let my Baby Blue go. I didn't think they'd give me close enough to what I wanted (for a trade), and then they did! So I had to say good-bye to my car of 8 years, right there in a dealership parking lot with the hawkers gawking. I rubbed the dash, like I've done hundreds of times, and thanked her for keeping me safe and always being trusty & reliable. She was no ordinary "exploder". I hope she goes to a nice new sassy girl owner like me!

I was invited to photograph at Chez Jacques restaurant in Walker's Point, Milwaukee yesterday. It was a great experience to partake in a restaurant photo shoot! I learned a ton and had a great time. Next time I want to be a model,  however, because they get to EAT the food!

Unmanned Craft

Sorry, this is evil but funny to me - our neighbor's renters (the 12 y/o kid) put the row boat in the water & with the strong winds, it got swept to the middle of the lake. It's too early in the season for anyone to really help since most people don't have boats in the water yet! Oops!

The Twins

We went to see the twins - Mia & Brock - tonight. They sure are fun to watch & play with - two little wiggle worms! Oh, it was good to see Jim, Sherry & Sarah too!
